Among the most popular high end and popular laptops these days are Apples MacBook Pro 2017 and Dell’s XPS 13.  Dell’s model was research early this year 2017 while Apple’s MacBook was launched mid-year.

Design

When it comes to design, both are most likely identical. As shown above, Dell XPS 13 is lighter. When you compare the two when it comes to size, Dell is smaller as well. Talking about thickness, the two are just the same.

Talking about materials, Apples still uses Aluminum while Dell continues to shine with its carbon fiber body. In this competition, Aluminum material is more popular. Many would say that nothing beats Apple when it comes to elegance but Dell XPS also offers a stunning laptop in terms of design.

Screen

Most reviews agree that when it comes to display, Apple beats Dell big time. Though it is good to note that high-end model of Dell XPS 13 can have a display of up to 3200 x 1800 pixels, but for low models, it’s 1920 x 1080. MacBook Pro features 2880 x 1800 resolution for all of its models.

Pricing

For people who think about purchasing expensive laptops such as these two, it might be safe to say that budget is not that much of a factor anymore. Though Dell wins the contest when it comes to price, people in this purchase category doesn’t weigh price that much.

But, if you are among those who wanted great performance which can be compared to Apple’s products but wants a cheaper alternative, then Dell XPS 13 would be the best option.
