The most common troubleshooting method to do when you experience something wrong with your laptop is to “Restart” the device.
It is possible that something went wrong while you were working something with your laptop that caused the keyboard to malfunction. So the simplest and usually the most effective way to fix the problem is to Restart the laptop.
Update Keyboard Driver
There are instances where installing a program or application on your laptop could affect how your keyboard is working especially when it is something that uses the keyboard a lot like a designing application.
What you need to do is to go to the “Device Manager” and look for the Keyboard option. Then, click the Update Driver option.
After the update is done, restart your laptop.
Remove the Battery
Remember that components in a laptop are tightly squeezed inside. This means that there is a big tendency that temperature would rise especially if the laptop is not properly designed to managed heat.
One part that easily gets hot is the battery. This could mean a problem for other parts of the laptop including the keyboard. So try removing the battery and using only AC power to run your laptop. If this fixes your problem, then most likely the best solution is to replace your battery.
Clean your Keyboard
